About your home
Count above-grade floors only. A raised ranch, raised bungalow, or home with a walk-out basement counts as single storey.
Include ALL heated floor area — above-grade floors plus any heated basement or below-grade space. This matches how EnerGuide calculates your home's total heated floor area. Unheated crawlspaces and unheated garages are excluded.
Basement: full wall coverage means insulation runs the full height of the wall. Crawlspace: ceiling insulation means the floor above the crawlspace is insulated. Slab: perimeter insulation.
Heating, cooling & equipment
Not sure? Check your vent: plastic pipe venting through the wall = condensing (90%+). Metal flue pipe to chimney or roof = mid-efficiency or older. A variable speed blower motor also indicates condensing.
Not sure? Check the vent: plastic pipe through the wall = power vent. Metal vent to chimney = atmospheric (older). Tankless units have no tank.
Solar PV generation is not modelled in this virtual label. If your home has solar panels, an EnerGuide assessment captures your on-site renewable energy contribution accurately and reflects it in your official rating.
Known upgrades since original construction
Basement: full wall height means insulation covers the entire wall from rim joist to floor. Crawlspace: ceiling means the floor above is insulated. Partial coverage has limited energy impact — completing to full wall height is recommended.

This virtual home label was prepared by All Green Energy Consultants Inc. in accordance with the voluntary Guidelines for Virtual Home Labelling (June 2026), developed as part of Canada's National Approach to Home Labelling. This label is not an EnerGuide rating and must not be presented as such. Energy estimates are calibrated to Windsor-Essex HOT2000 assessments (Windsor CWEC, 3,306 HDD) including verified pre/post retrofit data. Ontario grid emission factor 40 g CO₂e/kWh; natural gas 1,944 g CO₂e/m³ (2024 National Inventory Report). All Green Energy Consultants Inc. assumes full responsibility for this label; it does not constitute endorsement or certification by any government body. This virtual label uses standardized occupancy assumptions and estimated airtightness based on home age and type. Actual energy use and greenhouse gas emissions may be higher due to supplementary heating sources (such as gas fireplaces), measured airtightness, actual occupancy patterns, or equipment performance. A certified EnerGuide assessment includes a blower door airtightness test and captures all energy end uses for a more complete picture.
